The Cole Process makes landscaping simple thanks to our concierge-type experience, which is filled with frequent communication. We respect you and your property from the first phone call, and you can expect us to be punctual and work efficiently so you can enjoy your improved outdoor areas sooner.
Step 1: Get in Touch
Give us a call or fill out our contact form to tell us more about your property and project. Based on the type of project, we’ll select the best Cole Landscaping expert to talk to you about your project.
Step 2: The 15 Minute Cole Consultation
Our expert will give you a call to talk more about your project, discuss the budget, and answer any questions you may have. If we’re a good fit for each other, we’ll schedule your on-site visit to take the next step.
Step 3: On-Site Visit
We’ll arrive at your property ready to listen to all of your ideas. We’ll take detailed notes and examine your property to determine what’s possible. We can even make some recommendations you may not have considered. We’ll take photos and measurements, talk to you about our process, and answer any questions you may have about how we work and what you can expect. We’ll also discuss the design fee, if one is required for your project. If you’d like to take the next step with us, we’ll collect the design fee and schedule a time, typically within two weeks, to present the design to you.
Step 4: Design Plan Presentation
We’ll meet with you at our design studio to present your design. It will include a complete layout of your home and surrounding landscape, showing all the features and hardscape areas. We’ll present this to you in a blueprint format. We’ll also talk about the costs and timeline. We can often make modifications to the design in real time with you at our design studio to arrive at a final design.
Step 5: Design Approval + Master Plan Agreement
Once the landscape design concepts are in place and any changes to the original design have been finalized, we call this finalized document the Master Plan. This Master Plan can be implemented at one time or broken up into multi-year projects. Upon acceptance of our detailed budget, we’ll collect the initial deposit and get you on the schedule!
Step 6: Installation and Work
We’ll communicate clearly when work will begin and what you can expect. Our uniformed crew will show up with your project manager and meet with you to begin the project and answer any questions you might have about the work we’ll be doing. We’ll communicate with you regularly during the project.
Step 7: Final Walkthrough + Ongoing Maintenance
After your project is complete, we’ll come back out and walk the property with you to be sure everything was done to your satisfaction. We’ll collect the final payment and also use this time to discuss any warranties as well as options for ongoing maintenance to ensure that your new landscape provides many years of enjoyment in the future.
